CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
"Successfully executing the sale of a private business is a more complex and time-consuming process than we had anticipated. We consider ourselves fortunate to have found the right business brokers to represent us along the way and share the journey to successful completion. Our business is a franchise, of a national and international group. There are many advantages of a franchise to a business owner – chief among them is the business system which is tried and tested across many individual operations and markets. At the same time, not all potential owners are attracted by the idea of payment of a monthly royalty and complying with a set of rules and obligations. By introducing us to Chris and Karen Walsh, we were placed in the hands of people who understood franchising first hand.  For Home Instead, it was not a simple matter of finding a buyer with the ability to fund the acquisition. The challenge was to introduce a buyer whose reasons for investing in the age services industry were compatible with the culture of Home Instead. A measure of altruism and an empathy with the needs of older Australians was important. Our grateful thanks to all in GMO for successfully introducing the right purchasers and for steering the many processes through to settlement. Chris, Karen and Wilna, with their experience of franchise businesses and their professionalism and determination, were essential to this successful conclusion. We recommend them highly."

Kevin Rawnsley, Seller and Previous Director of Home Instead Senior Care

“Looking back, although we were very lucky that the buyer ticked all the boxes (during the sale process) it was still a monumental undertaking which was extremely stressful. But you all did very well, it all went smoothly and professionally. A job very well done, thank you.”

Mark Smith, Seller and Previous Owner of Dion For Brides

"Chris and Karen made the sale of our business really easy.  From the initial briefing they kept us up to date with what was happening through and just lead us smoothly through the process.  Having run their own business they had a great feel for what we needed and how to get the best return for us whilst also looking after the purchaser."
